Sport Aircraft Seats

Sport Aircraft Seats builds custom seat upholstery for Alaska bush planes — Cessnas, Pipers, and whatever else is on the strip. Their product is deeply configurable: every order is different.

They were selling on WooCommerce. Once an order came in, it lived on paper.

How we did it

  1. Moved the storefront to Shopify

We migrated the store off WooCommerce and onto Shopify — reliable checkout, real payment options, and far less to maintain.

What changed Buying stopped being the risky part.

  2. Built custom product builders

Their product has too many options for a normal product page. We built guided builders that let a customer design exactly the seat they want and see what they're ordering.

What changed Customers self-serve a complicated order. Orders arrive complete and unambiguous, without a chain of clarifying emails.

  3. Built a mobile app on top of Shopify

New orders land in an app that reads straight from Shopify. The shop floor moves each job through its manufacturing statuses from a phone.

What changed Production status stopped living in someone's head.

  4. Automated customer status emails

As a job advances through the floor, the customer is emailed about it automatically.

What changed A six-week custom lead time stopped feeling like silence.

A customer called asking what they had bought the year before. Daniel was on vacation, nowhere near the office.

That request used to take a week. He answered it in thirty seconds, from his phone.
